Our club was originally founded in 1990.
Member meetings and events take place monthly. Please see our Events page for more information.
Monthly meetings:

Meeting are held at the Heritage Library in Lakeville, Minnesota on the second Monday for the months of January, February, March, April, September, October and November.

In May, the Club meets at the Veteran's Memorial Garden at Arenson Park to plant annuals.

In June and July and August, Members meet for garden tours.
-
December is our Holiday Party Event at a local venue.
Upcoming Events
The club hosts monthly events for our members including guest speakers, garden tours in the summer and other community events. The meetings are typically on the second Monday of each month, and most are free to members.
Guests are welcome to attend an open event, and if they would like to continue attending meetings, membership is only $26 per year. See our MEMBERSHIP page for more information and to join! February 10th, 2025 Monthly Meeting with presentation by Sally McNamara, Dakota County Master Gardener, on "Pruning Trees and Shrubs."
March 10th, 2025 Monthly Meeting with a presentation by Gail Hudson, Minnesota State Horticultural Society, on "Plants Ablaze; Design your Garden Now."
April 14th, 2025 Monthly Meeting with presentation by members Chris Presson and Sue Williamschen, on "Automation and Smart Systems for Garden and Lawn Care."
May 8th, 2025 All day Carpool Tour to Greenhouses and Nurseries in the Faribault and Owatonna area.
May 17 and 18, 2025 LAGC's Annual Plant Sale at the Avonlea Clubhouse 1855 Glenbridge Ave, Lakeville
May date TBD -Yellow Ribbon Women's Luncheon participation
May 19th Monthly meeting "All-Membership Community Gardens Veteran's Memorial Gardens Flower Planting," with boxed dinner

July 12th, 2025 8:00-4:00 LAGC Flower Show during the Lakeville Pan-O-Prog
July 26, 2025 All day Saturday bus tour of the "Men's and Women's Club of Minneapolis Garen Tour." The event is still in development; please watch for updates under Events.
August 11th, 2025 "Annual Pot Luck Diner and Member's Garden tour."
September 8th, 2025 Monthly Meeting with presentation by Michelle Reidell, Minnesota State Horticultural Society, on "Anything But Green!"
