Design and Decorate for the Holidays at Terra Garden Center

Our November craft activity has been a tradition of the LAGC throughout its history and this year’s event commemorates the inspiration and dedication of our Club’s founders and celebrates 30 years of community leadership with gratitude and appreciation!

Join us for hot cider and sweet treats at the Terra Garden Center (the garden center will be closed to the public during this event) while designing and assembling a custom outdoor planter, readymade wreath or swag, or a tabletop centerpiece.  Terra owner and host, Steve Risan and his team will guide members through this hands-on activity for creating your holiday arrangement.

The member cost to attend this event is approximately $25* (this cost includes a $15 LAGC member discount paid by the LAGC). 

• This is a Members Only event and limited to 50 participants. 
• REGISTRATION by NOVEMBER 2ND IS REQUIRED for planning purposes.

Program Details and Member Responsibilities:

A variety of project design samples will be available along with pricing for members to use in deciding on their custom arrangement design.  Members will shop the store for the items they choose to include in their design and to assemble their arrangement.  Members may choose to share material bundles and cost with other members as they desire.  Terra’s design staff will demonstrate planter assembly and be available to answer member questions for their individual project.

In accordance with LAGC procedures, members will be asked to follow MN COVID best practices and wear masks during this event.  Please bring a mask, gloves and pruning shears/scissors for your individual use and protection (gloves, sheers and scissors may be purchased at Terra for an additional fee).  Design stations will be set-up to allow members to self-manage their social distancing throughout this event.  Temperatures in the green house will be maintained between 60-65 degrees F.

What to bring:  COVID mask, garden gloves, pruning shears/pruning scissors, light jacket and optional container* for an outdoor planter or tabletop centerpiece.

*Individual member cost may be more or less if members choose to bring their own 13” container and based on the embellishments selected for their designed arrangement.  Please factor an additional cost for materials to fill member containers larger than 13”.
