I will recognize the efforts other people contribute to the garden club
7. RELIABILITY
-
If I accept an assignment/volunteer, I will do my utmost with carrying through. If I am unable to follow through, I will find another member to fill the need. If I have extenuating circumstances i.e. (illness, death in family) I will contact the Executive team

I will familiarize myself with the duties and responsibilities of our officers and team leaders and the LAGC bylaws and policies.
9. COURTESY
-
In the best interests of the club, I understand the value of courtesy and respect when working with or communicating with other members
-
I will be courteous, mannerly, and mindful of my tone when working with others and in my communications with members, whether in person, by phone, or in the written form
10. SINCERITY
-
If I have a club related issue or concern, I will directly approach the person who can answer my questions/help resolve the issue or concern
-
I will reach out privately, courteously, and respectfully
-
I understand that sharing my issue will not necessarily result in a change to what I prefer/wish.
LAGC EXECUTIVE ACTION
Your Executive Team and past Presidents (defined as the Leadership Team) are here to support you!
If, as a member, you feel you have not been treated with courtesy and respect in an interaction and conflict resolution is needed:
-
If you feel this way, please contact a member of the Leadership Team with your concerns.
-
When contacted for help to resolve an issue between members, a member of the Leadership Team will arrange a meeting with the goal of helping reach a resolution.
-
-
The expectation of ALL members is to come with an open mind and work towards a respectful resolution.
-
This may involve needing to “agree to disagree” and/or dropping the topic or issue at hand.
-
ALL members are expected to move forward with mutual respect and understanding. This is to ensure the health of our Club.
-
-
If there are ongoing issues requiring repeated intervention by the Leadership Team, this would be grounds for reviewal of membership by this Leadership Team.

All Lakeville Area Garden Club members will be asked to agree to the expectations of this policy on an annual basis as part of their membership agreement.
